Walter has more than 25 years of professional experience in external audit, international tax advisory and internal audit. He has held leading roles in Ecuador Bottling Company Corp. (Coca-Cola), KPMG, Romero & Asociados, Ernst & Young and Diario El Universo. Currently he is the Managing Partner of Legal Advisor Solution Ltd. (LAS), the Ecuador member firm of LATAXNET – Latin America Tax & Legal Network.

Between 1992 – 2001 he was the partner in charge of the tax, legal and financial services practice of Romero & Asociados, the Ecuador member firm of Ernst & Young. While in this position Walter was able to structure a team of 60 professionals with diverse professional backgrounds.

During 1990 – 1991 Walter was the General Auditor of El Universo, the largest newspaper in Ecuador.
